The role
Toolsquare gives labs, universities, research facilities and vocational training centres real insight and control over their equipment. Instead of paper logs and machines with open access, we bring access control, automatic usage tracking and analytics that finance teams and lab managers actually trust. Teams like imec, argenx, KU Leuven and TU Delft already run on it, and the list is growing fast across Europe.
We are looking for a senior commercial person who is great at closing deals with large multi site organisations and building and maintaining strong relations.
It is a role with a lot of freedom. You own your patch end to end, from the first conversation to the signed contract to the partnerships that keep paying off. The team has your back to support with technical input or help with complex cases or large tenders.
What you will own
New business across our core segments: R&D labs, university core facilities, cleanrooms and research institutions.
The full sales cycle for our larger accounts: qualification, discovery, business case, proof of value, pricing and close.
A sales motion built on outcomes and total cost of ownership. You are just as comfortable with a CFO as with a lab manager, understanding both operational and managerial challenges.
A clean pipeline and an honest forecast in HubSpot, so the whole team can plan with real numbers.
A direct line back into product and positioning. You are closest to the customer, so what you hear shapes what we build and how we talk about it.
What you bring
8+ years in B2B sales, with a track record of closing deals that involve more than one decision-maker.
Experience selling into research, scientific, industrial or technical settings, or the drive to get up to speed quickly.
A feel for partner and channel sales, or a genuine appetite to build that side from scratch.
Comfort with a product where hardware, software and operations meet. You do not need to be an engineer, but you do need to be curious.
Sharp commercial instincts. You qualify properly, you build a real business case, and you keep your pipeline honest.
Fluent English. Dutch, French or German is a big plus for the European market.
A start-up mindset of getting things done.
Nice to have
SaaS-with-hardware experience, or selling into regulated environments (GxP, ISO, 21 CFR Part 11).
A network in academic, research or core-facility procurement.
